New IBISCHK bugs: - Bob: We had an inquiry about an IBISCHK issue, but no testcase yet. - The message is about non-zero ISSO at VDD. - This may or may not be a bug. - Bob: Arpad sent a bug about a year ago, but it hasn't been processed yet. IBISCHK7 parser development: - Mike showed the parser contract draft 8. - Mike: For BIRD 182 we might suggest the messages. - Bob: If a pin bus_label is not found in [Pin Mapping], it must have a POWER/GND Signal_name in [Pin]. - With BIRD 189 there is a bus_label keyword. - Mike: The BIRD 182 change description here looks sufficient. - An email detailing this would be helpful. AR: Bob Ross to send material on required parser changes for [Pin Mapping] - Mike: BIRD 183 is editorial, but some messages might need to be changed. - Mike suggested terminology changes for four matrix messages. - Bob: These changes would apply to all versions, not just 7.0. - Mike: This might break some regression tests. - Bob: This could cause line wrap issues. - Mike: BIRD 184.2 requires new checks. - Bob: Model_name and Signal_name should be all lowercase. - Mike: One question is whether to call out all errors or just the first. - Bob: We do not know which name is in error. - Mike: This only says they differ. - Bob: We should stop after the first error. Mike: BIRD 185.2 ... _ Mike: This is a list of places in the code that prohibit reserved words. - Bob: The BIRD is editorial, no checks should be needed. - Mike: Then I will delete these and recommend no parser changes. - Bob Ross moved to adjourn. Mike LaBonte seconded. - The meeting ended without objection. Meeting ended: 11:55 ET Next meeting April 24, 2018
